Role:
In this role, you take on the technical responsibility for detecting, analysing, and defending against cyberattacks on complex infrastructures. You develop and optimise security architectures, tools, and processes to detect threats early and mitigate them effectively. You analyse security-relevant events, initiate incident response measures, and accompany their implementation until completion. Furthermore, you contribute your expertise to further develop security standards and establish best practices in cyber defence. As a senior professional, you coach other security specialists and thus contribute to a high maturity level of cyber defence.
Responsibilities:
You further develop security and response systems and stay one step ahead of modern attack scenarios
You transform complex security processes into automated and efficient workflows
Together with the cyber defence team, you strengthen security maturity and response automation
You actively contribute your ideas to the existing security tool landscape
Qualifications:
A degree in information security as well as knowledge in infrastructure as code complete your profile
You bring professional experience in cyber defence engineering as well as very good Python skills, Go is a plus
Experience with TDD, design patterns, code reviews, GitLab CI/CD and DevSecOps distinguishes you
You have excellent written and spoken German and English; CISSP, OSCP or CAS/MAS are a plus
