Role:
Do you want to take responsibility for stable and secure networks? As an Infrastructure Security Engineer, you manage customer environments from setup to daily operation. Firewalls, network components, and monitoring systems form your technical focus. Those wishing to develop further in cybersecurity will find room for that here.
Responsibilities:
You implement security and network infrastructures and further develop them for various customers.
You receive reports from 1st and 2nd level support, analyse the cause, and resolve the problem.
Furthermore, you plan upgrades and lifecycle tasks and implement them cleanly via change management.
You drive the automation of existing services and thus improve service quality.
Regular communication with customers, suppliers, and adjacent specialist teams is also part of your role.
Additionally, you keep operational documentation up to date and participate in occasional on-call duties.
Qualifications:
You have completed training in computer science or possess an equivalent qualification.
You have worked in network and security technology for at least three years.
You have proven practical experience in the administration of FortiGate or similar enterprise firewalls.
You are familiar with the operation and monitoring of LAN, WAN and WLAN as well as common monitoring tools.
Furthermore, you know ITIL processes around incidents and changes and have already participated in projects.
You also impress with fluent German, solid English in spoken and written form, and a structured, pragmatic working style.
