Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced specialist for project management of civil engineering, road construction, and infrastructure projects as well as tasks in municipal waste and recyclable materials management. You develop and manage construction and maintenance projects from planning through tendering and awarding to realisation. Additionally, you take on professional responsibility for disposal infrastructures and underground container systems and coordinate internal and external stakeholders. The position combines classic civil engineering project management with diverse tasks in the field of public infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management in civil and road construction from project development to completion
Planning and management of new construction, renovation, and maintenance projects of municipal infrastructure
Preparation of tender, submission, and awarding documents for civil engineering and infrastructure projects
Responsibility for cost, schedule, and quality control as well as ongoing project controlling
Coordination of engineering offices, specialist planners, municipal services, companies, and authorities
Support of construction execution including site coordination, acceptance, and defect management
Professional support and further development of waste and recyclable materials management
Planning and implementation support of underground container systems (UFC) and other disposal infrastructures
Handling interfaces with utility construction, road maintenance, drainage, and public spaces
Preparation of cost estimates, investment bases, and decision documents for infrastructure projects
Professional representation of projects towards the public, authorities, and other stakeholders
Development of technical statements and bases for political and internal administrative decision-making processes
Qualifications:
Basic construction technical training with further education as certified construction manager, site manager or degree as civil engineer FH/ETH
Several years of professional experience in project management of civil engineering, road construction, or infrastructure projects
Sound knowledge in tendering, awarding, construction cost, schedule, and quality management
Knowledge in utility construction, road maintenance, and municipal civil engineering
Experience with public procurement and administrative processes is an advantage
Confident handling of IT, project management, and construction administration systems
Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
