Certified Construction Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF120,000 - 125,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Certified Construction Manager in Building Construction for the independent management of demanding new build and renovation projects. You will be responsible for the operational site management from work preparation through personnel and resource planning to measurement and billing. The focus is particularly on residential construction projects as well as the economical and timely control of construction execution. You will coordinate site teams, clients and planners and ensure quality, costs, deadlines and occupational safety.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and supervision of building construction sites in new build and renovation
Responsibility for work preparation, site organisation and execution planning
Creation and ongoing monitoring of construction programmes, schedule and resource plans
Disposition of personnel, machinery, equipment, inventory and building materials
Technical and operational leadership of foremen, supervisors and site teams
Ensuring economical construction execution with regard to costs, performance, quality and deadlines
Implementation and control of requirements for occupational safety and health protection
Coordination of interfaces with clients, site management, planners, suppliers and subcontractors
Execution of measurement, performance recording and site billing
Monitoring of extra work, claims and additional services as well as preparation of corresponding billing bases
Ongoing site controlling including target-actual comparisons and cost forecasts
Development of execution optimisations and economical solution variants in collaboration with planning and project management
Qualifications:
Degree as Certified Construction Manager SBA or Certified Technician HF in Building Construction Management
Several years of professional experience as a Construction Manager in Swiss building construction, ideally in new build and renovation
Sound knowledge in work preparation, costing, measurement, billing and site controlling
Experience in leading site personnel and coordinating subcontractors
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards, occupational safety regulations and Swiss construction practice
Confident use of MS Office; experience with BauBit or comparable construction software is an advantage
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
