Role:

Good security consulting means not viewing technical risks in isolation. You understand the impact of security requirements on architecture, development, processes, and business goals – and can develop solutions that work in practice. In this role, you consciously move between cybersecurity, governance, risk management, and business and simultaneously help shape the further expansion of the security portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Security & Architecture

• You analyse complex client requirements and develop security concepts and solution architectures from them

• You advise on secure design, secure development lifecycle, and web security

• You accompany the implementation of new security solutions together with architecture, engineering, and project management

• You critically assess existing approaches and identify concrete improvement opportunities

Risk, Governance & Compliance

• You support clients with risk assessments, compliance questions, and regulatory requirements

• You develop pragmatic measures to reduce security risks together with the responsible departments

• You help to sustainably integrate security requirements into governance and business processes

Consulting & Business Development

• You conduct discussions and workshops with clients and translate complex security topics into understandable recommendations for action

• You support sales and engineering with offers, solution concepts, and presales activities

• You actively contribute your experience to the expansion of the cybersecurity business field

• You observe new technologies and further develop the service offering together with internal specialist departments

Qualifications:

• You have a completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification

• You bring several years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or security consulting

• You have a broad technical understanding and ideally a deep focus on web security, secure design, or secure development

• You are familiar with risk management, compliance, and security governance

• Ideally, you hold certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or ISO 27001 Auditor

• You can connect technical matters with business and regulatory requirements

• You are open to new technologies and especially to AI-supported development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot

• You have very good German and English skills
