A versatile challenge for an experienced individual with a background in application management or IT operations. You ensure that releases are structured, planned, tested, and successfully transitioned into operation while keeping an eye on all dependencies between technical and business stakeholders.
The role combines release management with operational application responsibility and offers touchpoints with deployment automation, monitoring, and the technical configuration of applications.
Responsibilities:
Management of the entire release lifecycle from planning through testing and deployment to productive introduction
Coordination of involved teams from development, quality assurance, IT operations, and business units
Planning and support of deployments as well as monitoring of applications in test and production environments
Organisation of test phases and approvals as well as maintenance of release documentation and version information
Monitoring operational stability and coordination of interfaces and third-party applications
Administration of technical application parameters and implementation of necessary adjustments to databases
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in IT operations, application management, or software release management
Technical understanding of modern application landscapes and their architectures
Confident use of JIRA and comparable tools for planning and release coordination
Practical knowledge of CI/CD, feature flag concepts, and application monitoring
Strong organisational skills, high personal responsibility, and a structured way of working
Experience with IT processes in regulated industries is a plus; good German language skills are required
