IT Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
You help shape the digital world and take on an important role as a Cyber Security Engineer. In this position, you are responsible for the security of digital systems and develop solutions to protect them from threats. You bring your experience as a senior and actively commit to security. Your goal is to make the digital world safer and develop innovative solutions. You are an important part of digital security and contribute to ensuring that systems and data are protected.
Responsibilities:
You monitor the current threat landscape and derive appropriate detection and hardening measures
In this role, you support the build and further development of our SIEM/SOC solution
As an IT Security Engineer, you analyse security incidents and coordinate containment
You plan and coordinate penetration tests, vulnerability scans, and technical audits
You further develop our vulnerability management and prioritise vulnerabilities based on risk
You advise ICT projects on security issues and document security architectures and processes
Qualifications:
You have completed training or studies in computer science or IT security
You bring several years of experience in a technical security role
You have solid practical experience in the Microsoft security environment, especially with Defender XDR, Sentinel, Entra ID, and Intune
You have good knowledge of network, system, and endpoint security
You have experience with security monitoring, incident management, and vulnerability management
You are analytical, structured, and independent in your working style and can communicate technical risks clearly
