Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the inspection and assessment of gas and water installations. You plan and carry out installation inspections independently and ensure compliance with the applicable SVGW guidelines as well as technical safety and quality requirements. Additionally, you check installation notifications, document inspection results and maintain the relevant technical master and system data. The role combines sound knowledge in sanitary and supply technology with inspection, documentation and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
Planning, coordination and execution of installation inspections for gas and water systems
Inspection of installations regarding operational safety, execution and compliance with standards
Ensuring compliance with the relevant SVGW guidelines W3 and G1
Inspection and processing of submitted installation notifications and technical documents
Assessment of installations and identification of any defects or deviations
Follow-up on complaints and inspection of proper defect rectification
Technical coordination with sanitary installation companies, planners and other specialist departments
Preparation of inspection reports, test protocols and technical documentation
Maintenance and updating of system, customer and installation master data in internal systems
Administrative processing and updating of completed inspections in ERP/SAP systems
Technical advice on installation regulations, inspection procedures and technical requirements
Ensuring traceable documentation in accordance with the applicable standards and safety requirements
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training as a sanitary installer EFZ or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in sanitary, gas or water installation
Sound knowledge of the SVGW guidelines W3 and G1
Experience with installation inspections, technical tests or installation notifications is an advantage
Good user knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems is an advantage
