HEAD OF THE SOLIDARITY SECTOR AT 80%

As sector head, under the direction of the head of the Social Affairs Department, you guarantee individual assistance services by making them visible and accessible while developing them.
You are also the reference person on integration issues within the Administration.
Thus, you will mainly be responsible for:
- Managing a team of ten people, ensuring compliance with rules and procedures, as well as ethical principles related to the role;
- Maintaining strategic monitoring of social issues and acting as a professional reference, while providing support in complex situations;
- Being responsible for the management of transitional housing;
- Managing the sector's budget and occasional financial aid;
- Being a driving force for integration issues and leading related projects and actions;
- Collaborating with other sectors of the service on cross-cutting projects and developing and managing projects specific to your field.

YOU OFFER
- You hold a HES diploma in social work with a postgraduate certification or equivalent;
- You have solid professional experience in individual and/or collective social work, as well as proven team management experience of at least three years;
- You have a very good knowledge of social issues and the Geneva social network;
- You are proficient in basic computer tools (Office suite);
- Your commitment and sense of public service demonstrate your full adherence to the values of the City of Carouge.
