You have the chance to be part of a global team developing innovative solutions for automotive and industrial applications. In this role, you take responsibility for developing firmware for embedded systems in C/C++. You are responsible for creating high-quality firmware that meets the requirements of high-end connection solutions. You will use your skills to develop and optimise complex systems. You are an important part of the development process and contribute to our products setting new standards time and again. You bring your experience and knowledge to achieve our goals.
Responsibilities:
- You develop new and further developments of firmware for embedded systems in C/C++
- In this role, you analyse firmware and debug it, including creating unit tests
- As a Junior Firmware Engineer Embedded Systems, you are responsible for system tests and commissioning of complete systems
- You support the implementation of cybersecurity requirements in embedded systems
- In this role, you participate in the development, commissioning and verification of electronic hardware
- You develop tools and scripts to support development and/or production
Qualifications:
- You have a technical basic education with a focus on electronics, computer science or a comparable field
- You have a degree in computer science, software engineering, embedded systems, electrical engineering or a comparable field
- You bring knowledge in C/C++ for embedded systems
- You have knowledge of microcontroller architectures and embedded systems
- You are interested in hardware development and hardware-near firmware development
- You have analytical thinking, structured troubleshooting and holistic system understanding
