For our client, an established fiduciary company in Zurich, we are seeking a responsible specialist to manage the company’s internal accounting and contribute their own ideas to the further development of internal processes. The position offers varied tasks, the opportunity to make your own mark, and open collaboration within a manageable team with direct communication. Depending on the level of employment, there is also the option to take on additional responsibility in managing and leading client mandates.
 

Head of Internal Accounting 60-100% (a)

Your tasks with a 60% workload

• Managing financial accounting including accounts payable and receivable
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Preparing annual financial statements and consolidation as well as liaising with the auditors
• Preparing quarterly reporting and business management analyses
• Handling invoicing and accounts receivable management via Vertec
• Supporting IT projects with Vertec and Abacus as well as optimising processes

With an increased workload, there is the possibility to take on mandate management. You will manage national and international fiduciary mandates, maintain financial and payroll accounting, prepare tax returns for individuals and legal entities, and provide advice on tax and business management matters. Additionally, you will support audits and communication with authorities, manage your own client portfolio, and assist colleagues with professional questions.
 
Your profile

• Qualification as a fiduciary with a federal diploma, in finance and accounting, or equivalent education
• Several years of experience in fiduciary services and/or accounting
• Independent, precise, and reliable working style
• Strong numerical understanding and good MS Office skills
• Knowledge of Abacus and Vertec is an advantage
• Confident German and very good English skills
• Professional demeanour and enjoyment of teamwork and client collaboration
