Work schedule: ideally present every morning; alternative option: full Monday, three mornings and one day off per week

The Media Division promotes member companies, manages media relations and strengthens FER's influence with decision-makers, the media and the general public. As the reference media for Romandy entrepreneurs, Entreprise romande informs on economic, political and entrepreneurial issues, highlights FER members and shares practical advice and best practices, serving a dynamic, innovative and value-creating economy.
Your mission
Reporting to the Director of the Media Division, you will directly contribute to these missions on a daily basis.
Within the Entreprise romande team, you ensure the operational smoothness of the department while progressively participating in its commercial development. You will be responsible for:
- The department's secretariat;
- Managing and developing Entreprise romande subscribers;
- Developing advertisers and advertising partnerships;
- Accounting follow-up for the department and the publication.
You thus provide the team with a reliable and structured administrative base, directly supporting editorial production.
Main responsibilities
1. Department secretariat management
- Handle usual secretarial tasks: telephone reception, correspondence, diaries and organisation of internal meetings.
- Provide transversal administrative support to the Entreprise romande team members.
2. Commercial development and management of Entreprise romande subscribers
- Maintain the subscriber database: creations, changes and cancellations.
- Participate in prospecting, retention and development of the subscriber portfolio.
- Respond to subscriber requests and ensure quality customer service.
- Contribute to the development of advertisers and advertising partnerships, with progressive skill development in this commercial area.
3. Department and Entreprise romande accounting
- Process supplier invoices, monitor payments and prepare supporting documents.
- Collaborate with the accounting department for closures and financial reporting.
4. Document management and other activities
- Document management: file Entreprise romande articles in Syracuse, send supporting documents to concerned persons, archive contracts and newspapers.
- Expense report management.
- Proofreading: proofread texts and content of the department.
Profile sought
Education & experience
- Holder of a commercial employee CFC or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an administrative or similar position
- Proven experience in administrative secretariat
- Ideally, initial experience in commercial prospecting, service sales or partnership development
- Exposure to routine accounting and management of client or subscriber files is an asset
Skills & qualities
- Ability to manage usual secretarial tasks (telephone reception, correspondence, diaries, meeting organisation)
- Aptitude to provide transversal administrative support to a team
- Mastery of subscriber management (creations, changes, cancellations) and strong customer service sense
- Ability to process supplier invoices, monitor payments and prepare supporting documents
- Aptitude to collaborate with accounting for closures and financial reporting
- Commercial spirit, interpersonal ease and ability to convince, with a desire to develop skills in advertising space sales
- Results-oriented: ability to identify opportunities and convert them into revenue for the media
- Rigour, sense of priorities, team spirit and solution orientation
Languages
- Perfect command of French, both spoken and written (C2 level)
- Good knowledge of German (B1/B2 level), an asset
