Designer Toolmaking (m/f/d)

The company develops and manufactures tools as well as components in ceramics, hard metal and steel – with a clear focus on quality and innovation. - Design and development of injection moulds for series production, based on customer specifications and internal guidelines
- Creation of 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX)
- Analysis and optimisation of existing moulds regarding functionality, cost and manufacturability
- Collaboration with the toolmaking, production and quality assurance departments to ensure a smooth production process
- Management of projects from concept to series maturity, including feasibility studies and tolerance analyses
- Support in selecting suitable materials and technologies for specific applications
- Participation in customer meetings for technical clarification of requirements and presentation of solutions
Qualifications:
- Completed training with further education as a technician HF
- Several years of professional experience in the design of injection moulds
- Sound knowledge in the use of CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX)
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams
- Very good technical understanding as well as a structured and solution-oriented working method
- Knowledge of common standards and guidelines in toolmaking
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
