We are looking for a Geologist as Project Manager or a motivated individual aiming to develop into this role for our Geology department in Bern, 60-100% (m/f/d).

Your Responsibilities

• Managing projects from the initial client contact through conducting investigations with reporting to technical construction supervision

• These projects relate to the following topics:

  • Geological and hydrogeological investigations

  • Track investigations

  • Ground investigations

  • Contaminated site investigations

  • Environmental impact assessments

  • Natural hazard assessments

• Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams within the CSD network

Your Profile

• Completed studies in geology or a comparable qualification

• At least 3 years of professional experience in an engineering office

• Experience in track investigations is an advantage

• Excellent German skills in spoken and written form; French and/or English are advantageous

• The position is also open to applicants who are not yet project managers but are motivated to develop into such a role

• Reliability, independence and commitment characterise you
