Head of Setting Workshop (M/F)

For one of our clients, a leading player in the field of watch and jewellery setting in the Neuchâtel Mountains, we are looking to strengthen their teams with a:

Your mission

As Head of the Setting Workshop, you ensure the organisation, coordination and smooth running of the workshop while guaranteeing the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities:

• You manage the workshop's activity and ensure the smooth progress of production
• You coordinate priorities and allocate work respecting deadlines and quality requirements
• You carry out and check setting operations on high-end watch and jewellery pieces
• You support and develop your team by promoting the transfer of know-how
• You provide solutions to technical issues encountered in production
• You contribute to the continuous improvement of working methods and processes
• You are the workshop's technical reference for all questions related to setting

Your profile:

• Training in setting, jewellery, or an equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in high-end setting
• Successful initial experience in team management or workshop supervision
• Mastery of main setting techniques (grain, claws, bezel, rail, invisible)
• Excellent dexterity, attention to detail and quality orientation
• Natural leadership, autonomy and team spirit
