Apprentice Specialist in Facility Maintenance EFZ, Work Service Specialisation

1 apprenticeship position starting August 2027 As an apprentice specialist in facility maintenance with a focus on work service, you will mainly work outdoors and be "weatherproof". Your tasks primarily include the structural and operational maintenance on the premises of Zurich Airport. In addition to green spaces and landscaped areas, you will maintain the runways, paths, and roads in and around the airport. This includes weed control, repair of runway and surface damage, as well as winter services. Your job destination

• You mainly work outdoors and master all weather conditions while ensuring the structural and operational maintenance of the airport grounds
• You take care of the careful maintenance and upkeep of the green spaces and landscaped areas surrounding and beautifying the airport
• You keep the runways, paths, and roads in and around the airport in perfect condition by regularly carrying out repairs and maintenance work

Your skills in your luggage

• You have successfully completed the compulsory secondary school education
• You enjoy practical activities mostly indoors but also outdoors
• Your manual dexterity, good technical understanding, and practical aptitude distinguish you
• Your working style is characterised by independence, reliability, and a sense of responsibility
• A quick grasp and a love for logical thinking are among your strengths
• You are flexible, resilient, and have a high willingness to learn and perform
• You express yourself fluently and confidently in German, both spoken and written
