The field of activity includes the production of compression springs, tension springs, torsion springs as well as stamped and bent parts according to individual customer requirements. As a CAD Designer, you play a crucial role in the development and optimisation of high-precision tool solutions. You are responsible for the design, further development and improvement of stamping and bending tools, progressive tools and prototype tools. Your work is essential for the efficiency and quality of production, as you not only develop innovative concepts but also accompany their implementation up to series maturity. Through your technical know-how and solution-oriented thinking, you contribute to optimising existing processes and successfully integrating new technologies.
Responsibilities:
Development and design of stamping and bending tools, progressive tools, prototype tools, insert tools, measuring devices and gauges
Creation of innovative concepts and offers for new tools and solutions
Technical project management in the development and implementation of new tools – from the initial idea to series maturity
Optimisation, improvement and modification of existing tools to increase productivity and quality
Creation of detailed CAD drawings, design plans and parts lists using a 3D CAD system (e.g. TopSolid)
Coordination and procurement of tools, standard parts and spare materials
Close collaboration with production and toolmaking to ensure optimal manufacturing
Support of manufacturing processes, sampling and production launches to adapt the tools optimally to series production
Monitoring of project deadlines and ensuring compliance with production specifications
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training as a designer, toolmaker or polymechanic
Extensive experience with 3D CAD systems (ideally TopSolid) and confident handling of technical drawings
Solid expertise in stamping and forming technology as well as experience in tool design
Structured, precise and independent working style with a high quality standard
Team spirit, commitment and the ability to work solution-oriented even under time pressure
Enthusiasm for technical innovations and joy in implementing new design ideas
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to collaborate efficiently with internal and external partners
