Your Tasks
- You lead the teams and administrative staff of the secretariats of the Surgical Clinic both professionally and disciplinarily.
- You are responsible for recruitment, deployment and resource planning as well as the development of the administrative staff.
- Together with the medical department heads, you continuously develop the administration of surgery and align processes and structures to future requirements.
- You ensure a professional, efficient and high-quality administration operation and are responsible for the continuous optimisation of administrative processes.
- Maintaining collaboration with clinic management, corporate development, HR, finance department, medical specialist departments and other internal and external stakeholders is part of your duties.
- You lead or accompany cross-departmental projects and represent the administration in working groups and committees.
- You are responsible for the continuing education administration of paediatric surgery.
- Together with the deputy clinic director, you are responsible for recruitment, employment, deployment planning as well as onboarding and offboarding management of assistant and junior assistant doctors.
- Finally, you are responsible for managing the website and intranet of the Department of Surgery.
Your Profile
- Commercial basic training or medical or paramedical basic training with commercial further education
- Several years of leadership experience with corresponding further education in leadership, management or organisational development
- Experience in healthcare, ideally in an acute hospital or a university institution
- Strong organisational and coordination skills as well as enthusiasm for actively shaping change
- High social competence, strong communication skills and an appreciative leadership style
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style as well as a high awareness of quality
