The training, lasting 4 years, covers all areas of the electronics profession: production, circuit and measurement techniques, as well as microcontrollers. It takes place at the Electrical and Electronic Construction Service (SCEE) of the electrical engineering department of HEIA-FR, following the dual model, with professional courses at CPNV in Yverdon-les-Bains and at EPAI in Fribourg. Apprentices are required to follow the integrated technical professional maturity programme.

You will thus develop knowledge and skills aligned with the needs of the job market, while benefiting from ideal preparation to pursue higher education at the Fribourg School of Engineering and Architecture after your apprenticeship.

- Duration of apprenticeship: 4 years
- Complete application file: Cover letter, CV, and depending on your situation, report cards (for students) or copies of diplomas and work certificates (for those already employed)
- Compulsory schooling completed (pre-gymnasium or general section), with very good results in mathematics, physics, chemistry and languages. The final school diploma is required to start the apprenticeship
- Interest in electricity, electronics and computer science
- Organisational skills, observation, rigour, perseverance and precision
- Enjoyment of experimentation, manual dexterity and ability to work abstractly
- Fluency in French or German with good knowledge of the other language; knowledge of English is an asset
