Deputy Head of Office

The Regional Office for the Protection of Minors in Lausanne is seeking its new Deputy Head of Office to complete the management team.

• Participate in the management of the Regional Office for the Protection of Minors;

• Ensure the hierarchical management of their group;

• Supervise social workers for the protection of minors in the fulfilment of their duties, ensuring compliance with the legal framework and the service's reference framework;

• Monitor at-risk situations, support social workers for the protection of minors in handling serious, complex or conflictual cases, and manage complaint handling;

• Contribute to promoting collaboration with relevant sectors and the local network in socio-educational action and child protection.

• Bachelor's degree in social work or equivalent qualification;

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years working with minors at risk in their development;

• Training and experience in team management, desirable;

• Knowledge of family law, child development and family dynamics;

• Leadership, decisiveness and determination;

• Good analytical, synthesis and delegation skills.

Disclosure of any criminal record is required for this position.

A monthly allowance for private vehicle use is paid.
