Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced individual as Overall Project Manager: Data Centre & Energy Centres to manage technically highly complex construction and infrastructure projects. You will take overall responsibility for all project phases and lead interdisciplinary planning teams from architecture, building services engineering and specialised engineering disciplines. The focus is on projects with high demands on supply security, technical availability and efficient energy and building technology systems. As the central interface to the client, you ensure coordinated planning and realisation while adhering to costs, deadlines, quality and technical project objectives.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for demanding data centre and energy centre projects from conception to commissioning
Leadership and management of interdisciplinary general planning and project teams across all relevant project phases
Coordination of interfaces between architecture, HVAC, electrical, building automation, energy supply and other specialist disciplines
Management of concept development, design, tendering, awarding, realisation and commissioning
Responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality, risks and technical project goals
Ensuring consistent planning of complex energy, supply and building technology systems
Central contact person for clients, architects, specialist planners and other project participants
Leading project, planning and coordination meetings as well as structured decision and action item management
Coordination of technical dependencies and ensuring integrated and collision-free planning
Support of tenders, contractor awards and technical awarding decisions
Management of the realisation phase and support of tests, commissioning, acceptance and handovers
Promotion and further development of BIM, digital planning and engineering processes within projects
Qualifications:
Degree in architecture FH/ETH/university or training in building services engineering with further education at HF/FH level
Several years of experience in overall project management of complex construction or building services projects
Solid experience in leading and coordinating interdisciplinary planning teams
Knowledge of data centres, energy centres, technically demanding buildings or critical infrastructure is an advantage
Experience in cost, schedule, quality and risk management as well as with Swiss planning and construction processes
Understanding of integrated building technology, general planning and digital planning methods/BIM
Very good German skills as well as good English skills for the international project environment
