Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a creative and quality-conscious professional for the development and planning of demanding architectural projects with a focus on upscale residential construction. You will design independent construction projects with a sculptural, elegant and contemporary architectural language and accompany them from the conceptual idea to the constructive elaboration. The focus is on architectural design quality, precise project planning and digital planning with ArchiCAD 28. The position combines creative independence, technical understanding and high-quality project presentation with the opportunity to actively shape demanding residential projects in an international, interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Development and processing of demanding architectural projects with a special focus on upscale residential construction and individual residential architecture

• Creation of independent architectural design concepts focusing on sculptural building forms, elegant proportions and high-quality spatial design

• Preparation of feasibility studies, preliminary projects and construction projects considering design, functional and economic requirements

• Development and optimisation of floor plan, section and façade concepts to create high-quality and individually tailored living spaces

• Creation and processing of digital architectural models and project plans with ArchiCAD 28 throughout the relevant planning phases

• Development of material, colour and design concepts with special attention to exclusive surfaces, high-quality materials and architectural detail quality

• Development of constructive solutions and architectural details for the technically precise implementation of demanding design ideas

• Creation of high-quality presentation materials, visualisations and project documentation with Adobe Creative Suite and other digital design tools

• Coordination of architectural planning with structural engineering, building services and other disciplines to ensure integrated project development

• Participation in approval, execution and detailed planning as well as ensuring consistency between architectural design and technical implementation

• Attendance at project meetings and presentations as well as professional coordination with clients, project managers and external planning partners

• Independent handling of defined project areas including scheduling, quality assurance and further development of architectural solutions

Qualifications:

• Completed architecture studies at ETH or FH or a comparable recognised higher education qualification in architecture

• At least three years of professional experience in Switzerland in architectural design and project planning, preferably with experience in upscale residential construction

• Very good user knowledge of ArchiCAD 28 as well as solid experience in digital architectural planning, 3D modelling and creation of precise project documents

• Confident handling of Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office as well as experience in professional preparation of architectural presentations, layouts and project documentation

• Strong architectural and design understanding with special interest in sculptural architecture, high-quality materials and individual spatial design

• Independent, structured and responsible working style as well as high standards for design quality, detail accuracy and constructive feasibility

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form for project communication as well as strong team and communication skills in an international and diverse working environment
