Cloud Platform Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 125,000Role:
In this role, you will shape the strategic development of IT infrastructures and be responsible for implementing complex system architectures. You analyse existing technologies, derive optimisation potentials, and efficiently implement sustainable IT solutions. Furthermore, you coordinate cross-departmental projects, conduct technical evaluations, and ensure compliance with relevant standards. Your several years of experience in the IT environment enable you to make well-founded decisions and purposefully integrate technical innovations. Through your structured working method and deep understanding of modern IT landscapes, you develop solutions that convince in the long term.
Responsibilities:
- You take over the operation and continuous development of the IT infrastructure including servers, network, storage, and cloud services.
- In this role, you administer and support Microsoft environments such as Windows Server, Active Directory, M365, and Intune.
- As a system platform engineer, you ensure the availability and performance of all systems.
- You implement security policies as well as monitoring solutions, thereby ensuring stable IT operations.
- Through your participation in IT projects such as migrations, rollouts, or automations, you drive technological advancement forward.
- You analyse existing systems, optimise their operation, and pass on your know-how in training sessions and through targeted documentation.
Qualifications:
- You have completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or hold a comparable qualification.
- You have several years of professional experience in system engineering as well as in supporting complex IT infrastructures.
- Sound knowledge of Windows servers, virtualization with Proxmox, and cloud technologies such as Azure and Microsoft 365 distinguish you.
- You bring solid know-how in networks, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, and VPN.
- Your analytical thinking and solution-oriented working style make you a valuable team member.
- You are proficient and clear in communication in both German and English; a driving licence completes your profile.
