An experienced individual is sought for a technically demanding IT environment to ensure the operation of modern server infrastructures and actively drive their further development. The focus is on Microsoft technologies, hybrid IT environments, and the secure migration of services to the cloud.
The position offers the opportunity to participate in complex digitalisation projects and work closely with specialists from the fields of data science and IT. In addition to operational infrastructure management, the optimisation of processes and the further development of security and data management concepts are also part of the responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Operation, maintenance, and further development of server infrastructures with a focus on Microsoft and additionally Linux
Participation in the establishment and implementation of data governance fundamentals
Technical collaboration on projects such as data lakes, customer portals, and other digital solutions
Further development of Active Directory, access management, backup, and IT security
Optimisation of IT processes and services in collaboration with data science professionals
Planning and execution of cloud migrations considering technical and security-related requirements
Qualifications:
Completed IT education EFZ with further training at HF or FH level
Current knowledge in operating on-premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructures
Experience with Microsoft server technologies and IT security solutions; Linux knowledge is an advantage
Experience in participating or leading IT projects
Interest in data engineering, data science, data management, and modern cloud technologies
Team-oriented, proactive personality with good German skills and willingness for on-call duty
