This is how you shape health

• You assess the obligation to provide benefits in the compulsory health care insurance securely and thoroughly based on legal requirements (Art. 57 KVG)
• You lead our permanent and mandated trust doctors professionally and develop them further
• You ensure the quality of all trust medical assessments – from KVG examinations through underwriting to recourse cases
• You conduct trust medical examinations and answer complex medical questions
• You develop and update insurance medical guidelines and foundational papers
• You support management in topics such as controlling, regulation and strategic initiatives
• You represent our department in relevant committees and networks (e.g. SGV, SIM)
• You ensure continuous knowledge building in the team through targeted training

This is what sets you apart

• Specialist doctor with at least 5 years of management experience and the seniority to lead professionally – even without direct line authority
• You know the world of insurance medicine or are motivated to quickly deepen your knowledge in it
• You have a good sense for legal issues and can substantiate medical decisions thoroughly
• Ideally, you hold the qualification as a trust doctor (SGV) and have further training in the field of expert reports (SIM)
• You appear confident, communicate clearly and find the right tone even in demanding situations
• You combine medical excellence with pragmatism and make comprehensible, balanced decisions
• Confident advisory-level German in spoken and written form; any additional national language is welcome
