Your mission in Biel
The City of Biel is actively committed to the integration of people of foreign origin, in close collaboration with federal and cantonal authorities. Since 2019, it has been managing the Integration Office for the Biel, Seeland and Bernese Jura region on behalf of the Canton of Bern.In this role, you advise individuals and organisations on integration issues and collaborate with numerous partners at the municipal, cantonal and national levels. You thus take on responsibilities in a varied field of activity, which offers you a great deal of freedom.
- Do you enjoy advising people on residence, naturalisation as well as professional and social integration?
- Do you take pleasure in working on case management and supporting people to develop sustainable solutions tailored to their situation?
- Would you like to help organisations remove barriers to integration?
- Are you interested in monitoring integration projects, from their design to the final reporting stage through to their implementation?
- Do you willingly maintain contacts with specialised organisations and actively use your knowledge?
- Do you appreciate professional exchanges and working within a motivated team?
The profile we dream of
- Higher education in the social, legal or integration field, or equivalent professional experience
- Good knowledge of Swiss foreign and asylum law
- Excellent knowledge of French or German and good knowledge of the other language
