Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for project management in civil engineering who accompanies diverse infrastructure projects from planning to realisation. You will take on the technical and economic responsibility for costs, deadlines and quality and coordinate the involved specialist departments and project partners. Together with an interdisciplinary planning team, you will develop technically sound and economical solutions for demanding civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Additionally, you will contribute to the preparation of offers and acquisition of new projects.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and handling of civil engineering and infrastructure projects from design to realisation
Development and assessment of technical variants and project solutions considering feasibility, economic efficiency and sustainability
Responsibility for cost, schedule and quality management as well as ongoing project controlling
Coordination of clients, authorities, specialist planners, contractors and other project participants
Preparation and review of design, tender and execution documents
Handling of tenders and awards including specifications, offer comparisons and award recommendations
Technical support during the execution and realisation phase as well as assistance with technical questions on site
Ensuring project processing in accordance with relevant SIA, VSS and Swiss building standards
Preparation of cost estimates, schedules, project reports and decision-making documents
Leading and minuting project and coordination meetings as well as following up on agreed measures
Support with offers, fee proposals and acquisitions as well as technical involvement in winning new projects
Qualifications:
Degree as civil engineer FH/ETH, certified civil engineering technician HF or comparable construction-technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in planning and design of civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Sound knowledge in project management, cost planning, tendering and realisation
Good knowledge of relevant Swiss SIA and VSS standards as well as common planning and approval procedures
Experience in coordinating clients, authorities, specialist planners and contractors
Confident handling of common CAD, tendering and project management applications
Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
