To strengthen our team, we are looking for a

Systems & Security Engineer

The systems and security engineer designs, operates and develops the group’s IT infrastructures: servers, virtualisation, networks, Microsoft 365 environments and backups.
They bear operational responsibility for IT security: monitoring vulnerabilities, detecting and handling incidents, risk analyses, applying security policies and raising user awareness. They document architectures and procedures, lead infrastructure projects and manage external service providers. If you are interested – then you are our new team member.

Your main responsibilities

Detect, analyse and qualify cyber incidents, threats and attacks, and lead the technical response

Ensure daily monitoring of asset vulnerabilities and manage their remediation: patches, hardening, configuration standards

Participate in defining and applying the IT security policy, crisis management and continuity plan

Conduct risk analyses, prepare audits and manage corrective actions

Integrate and operate IT security solutions

Manage identities and access: periodic reviews, privileged accounts, role separation

Raise awareness and train users on good security practices

Supervise and develop system and network infrastructures: service availability, data protection, documentation of architectures and procedures

Manage infrastructure and security projects as well as external service providers

Your profile

Federal VET diploma in IT complemented by higher education (ES, federal diploma, HES) or equivalent qualification

At least 5 years proven experience in system engineering in mixed Microsoft / Linux environments

Expected security certification (Security+, ISO/IEC 27001, GIAC or equivalent)

Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux, virtualisation, Microsoft 365 / Entra ID, backups and networks

Practical experience in security: hardening, vulnerability management, MFA, incident handling

Mastery of firewalling concepts; Fortinet experience is a plus

Rigour, autonomy and sense of priorities; ability to document and explain a technical risk to non-IT interlocutors

Native German or French speaker with good knowledge of the other language, advanced level in English

Driving licence B (car)
