Azure Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
Rethink, automate and securely operate cloud infrastructure: This position is aimed at experienced Azure specialists who want to modernise hybrid environments, establish Infrastructure as Code, and actively shape cloud security.
Responsibilities:
Design and further development of modern Microsoft Azure architectures
Planning and implementation of cloud migrations from traditional data centre environments to Azure
Modernisation of existing workloads through refactoring and cloud-native approaches
Development of scalable and secure cloud infrastructures
Implementation of security-by-design principles in Azure environments
Building and further development of cloud security concepts
Automation of infrastructure processes with Infrastructure as Code
Development of reusable deployment and provisioning templates with Bicep and Terraform
Automation of administrative processes with PowerShell
Optimisation of network architectures in collaboration with specialised network engineering teams
Integration of Azure resources into modern network and security concepts
Use of monitoring, policy management and governance to ensure stable cloud services
Identification of automation and optimisation potentials
Use of AI-supported tools to improve cloud operations and engineering processes
Technical consulting on architectural decisions and cloud transformations
Support of projects from conception to productive implementation
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience in engineering Microsoft Azure environments
Solid knowledge in Azure architecture, cloud operations and hybrid infrastructures
Experience with Bicep, Terraform or comparable Infrastructure-as-Code approaches
Very good knowledge of PowerShell and automation
Practical experience in cloud security
Understanding of identity, network, governance and security within Azure
Experience with cloud migrations and modernisation of existing IT landscapes
Interest in DevOps, platform engineering and automated deployment processes
Analytical and solution-oriented working style
Azure certifications in architecture, security or comparable qualifications are an advantage
