Senior Consultant / Health Project Manager – Hospital Information Systems (HIS) (all genders)
WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE
The healthcare sector is undergoing profound transformation and Switzerland still needs to catch up in this area. Modern IT solutions are now as indispensable to a high-performing healthcare institution as medical services and care.
At adesso, we support the main players in the healthcare sector as well as eHealth and mHealth solution providers in their digital transformation by providing our expertise in processes and information systems.
With your knowledge and skills, contribute alongside us to preparing the Swiss healthcare system for the challenges of tomorrow.
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
- Business and process analysis: analyse and model processes, as well as gather and formalise requirements in complex business and IT environments, notably hospital information systems (HIS) and specialised applications.
- Client consulting: support clients in their digital transformation projects.
- Interface between business and IT: ensure coordination between business departments and IT teams.
- Preparation and facilitation of workshops: prepare, facilitate, and evaluate workshops and assessments with clients.
- Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with various stakeholders and different project managers.
- Coaching: support and advise teams at client sites.
- Development of consulting offers and solutions: participate in their design and development.
- Innovation: integrate the most modern business models and problem-solving approaches.
Pre-sales support: contribute to business development and acquiring new clients. You will actively participate in prospecting and pre-sales activities, develop your network among clients, and be able to generate business opportunities.
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS
- Solid education: you hold a degree in business informatics, computer science, economics, or business management, or have an equivalent qualification.
- Relevant experience in the healthcare sector: you have at least five years of experience in implementing IT projects, ideally within the Swiss healthcare system.
- Experience with hospital information systems: you have practical experience managing projects involving Epic and KISIM solutions.
- Mastery of methodologies: you are familiar with common methods and frameworks, including UML, BPMN, Scrum, PRINCE2, and PMI.
- Understanding of technologies: you master technologies and IT products relevant to the healthcare sector. Knowledge of current technological topics, such as cloud or robotics, is an advantage.
- Conceptual knowledge: you master the functional and technical standards of the healthcare sector as well as the design principles of hospital information systems (HIS).
- Certifications: relevant certifications such as IIBA, IREB, or OCEB are an advantage. You have already obtained a project management certification, for example IPMA level C, PMP, or HERMES Advanced, or are willing to obtain one.
- Excellent communication skills: you can communicate confidently, persuade, and gain the support of your interlocutors.
- Language skills: you have a very good command of German and good knowledge of English.
