Reporting to the Core Infrastructure Manager, you join the Infrastructure team within a rapidly transforming technological environment. As an Expert Database, you are the technical reference for the company’s database platforms and actively contribute to their evolution, performance, and security. You support strategic projects for modernising architectures, automating operations, and adopting Cloud technologies while ensuring the reliability of services delivered to the business.

In this role, you will notably be responsible for:

• Defining and evolving database architectures to ensure their performance, availability, and scalability
• Administering and optimising Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB environments
• Leading initiatives for modernisation, automation, and rationalisation of the Database domain
• Identifying obsolescence risks and implementing associated remediation plans
• Supporting business, data, and application projects by providing high-level technical expertise
• Defining and promoting best practices in database management, security, and operation
• Ensuring communication and coordination with Infrastructure, Data, Applications teams, and international partners
• Participating in managing complex incidents, on-call activities, and continuous service improvement

• Higher education in computer science or equivalent experience
• 5 to 10 years of significant experience in database administration and architecture
• Excellent mastery of Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL; MongoDB experience desired
• Proven experience in transformation, modernisation, or migration projects of Database environments
• Good understanding of Cloud environments and interest in Infrastructure as Code approaches and automation
• Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders and to simplify complex topics
• Excellent communication skills, collaborative spirit, and recognised technical reference posture
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
