Training Facilitator - Musical Activities

Do you wish to participate in our mission to reintegrate detainees? Are you passionate about teaching and educational support? As a facilitator of musical activities within the Prison of la Croisée, you will design and lead music classes for detainees. Through personalised support, you will encourage creative expression and artistic skills in each individual, while recognising their progress and commitment.

• Lead workshops with detainees to develop projects centred on music, fostering their artistic creativity.

• Organise your teaching by ensuring differentiation of pedagogical practices to make the training accessible to all detainees participating in the activity (often heterogeneous groups).

• Contribute to creating learning conditions that promote detainees' progress by valuing attendance and the development of musical skills.

• Inform the relevant facilitators of any difficulties encountered with detainees during the activity provided.

Hourly auxiliary contract (approximately 16 hours/week), for one year, potentially renewable.

Remuneration according to hourly scale, quarterly travel expenses reimbursed.

• Experience in facilitating musical activities with educational aims and in using musical materials that enable individuals to develop new constructive projects.

• Ability to manage individuals in difficulty within a closed environment, both individually and in a group setting.

• Your open-mindedness, good communication skills and strong emotional control enable you to handle tense situations, listen attentively, while maintaining the necessary distance for your role.

• Good command of common IT tools and office software.

• Knowledge of one or more foreign languages is an asset.

Our employment conditions require you to be Swiss or hold a C permit, free from any debt enforcement order (an extract from the Debt Collection Office must be presented during the process), and your criminal record must be clean. There is a right to consult the criminal record under the Federal Law on the Criminal Record by the hiring authority for this position.
