Senior Manager, Global Creative Direction & Services (Icebreaker)

We’re looking for an outstanding Sr Manager, Global Creative Direction & Services to join our icebreaker & Smartwool marketing team in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s talk about the role!     

You as Sr Manager, Global Creative Direction & Services, will bring the global creative vision to life and create breakthrough assets that drive consumer excitement across all consumer touchpoints.

You will be responsible for establishing and driving the creative process for icebreaker global and regional brand and business priorities, overseeing the in-house creative, store design and POS delivery, copy, shoots and managing the creative agency partners. You will also be responsible for ensuring ongoing alignment with Brand Management, Sales, Retail, E-com, Communications and Product teams on the creative execution.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Lead the icebreaker creative direction while delivering the desired storytelling.
  • Lead the execution of the creative concepts.
  • Oversee the briefing process with external creative agencies and inhouse creatives and ensure on brand creative delivery across channels.
  • Ensure on-time seasonal creative toolkit delivery across all consumer touch points.
  • Ensure delivery of digital assets for social, ATL, own e.com and digital titans
  • Drive the overall store experience for all own stores including store design and the creative development of all in-store graphics and window displays and store development.
  • Support WS in co-creation projects with major KAs to ensure leverage of icebreaker assets yet differentiate solutions across accounts.
  • Act as a true brand advocate and protector of the company values and DNA and provide direction to ensure locally relevant creative assets are consistently aligned to global creative vision.
  • Manage the global Creative marketing budget to ensure synergies and maximum ROI.
  • Lead and develop creative team and organization design while continuing to upskill function.
  • Overview the creative execution of EMEA region for both icebreaker and Smartwool brands.

Skills for Success

  • A degree in advertising, communication design, or visual arts. A Bachelor (4 year) degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years design experience in an agency setting or design department is required.
  • Excellent communications skills in writing and visual.
  • 2-4 years of leadership experience required.
  • Visionary and strategic
  • Strong visual orientation
  • Deep understanding of consumer experience in a wide range of creative functions
  • Ability to work well with multiple individuals from a variety of different departments.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Fluency in current advertising, design, and fashion/outdoor trends expected.
