US GAAP ERP implementation Manager

Job Purpose

Support the IWG Finance function to embed US GAAP accounting into the ERP with a strong environment of financial control. 

Key Responsibilities


  • Implement US GAAP reporting together with the Global Shared Service centre in the ERP.

  • Deliver monthly US GAAP accounting close and reporting across the IWG group of companies.

  • Support to developing of the internal financial control environment to comply with US SOX requirements.

  • Support the accounting teams in the Group incl. the global shared service center and in countries to deliver a world class control environment; an efficient record to report process; and timely, accurate, “no surprises” financial reporting. 

  • Support the US GAAP Accounting Policies and their implementation across the Group and the interpretation of new or amended standards. 

  • Ensuring accuracy, integrity, and integration of all financial data in multi entity environment 

 

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications


  • 5-10 years in finance accounting role.

  • Experienced in implementing a new accounting standard in an ERP system

  • Experience of external reporting in a large, blue chip environment.

  • Dynamic, logical & proactive approach to issue resolution, able to break down a problem into its component parts, assess the available options and identify a recommended solution.

  • Detailed knowledge of US GAAP, and ideally IFRS.

  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data

  • ERP implementation experience ideally D365

  • Strong team player with the ability to work autonomously.

  • Attention to detail focused.

  • Ability to work in an international environment.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Excel expert level user
