ICT System Engineer 80% bis 100%

What you achieve

You work in a small team consisting of ICT system engineers, ICT supporters, and other providers on-site at our internationally active customers'. There, you support or manage projects to develop the ICT infrastructure. You ensure the infrastructure runs smoothly, and you take care of changes, incidents, requests, and problems. Thus, you are the technical contact person for the customer and implement ICT architectures – including solution designs, documentation and processes. In addition, you lead troubleshooting measures and represent the Service Delivery Manager.

Why you succeed

  • Degree (UAS/technical college) in computer science or several years of professional experience as a system engineer

  • Broad knowledge in IT infrastructure: Network (Cisco), Client (Windows 10), Server (Windows Server 2016, 2019, Redhat), Storage (NetApp), Hypervisor (VMWare), Backup (VEEAM), Monitoring (PRTG), Exchange, Skype for Business, Office 2016

  • Ready to take on regular standby duty as well as one or two assignments abroad each year

  • Committed and persistent in finding solutions; thoughtful and calm, even in busy situations

  • Enjoying teamwork as well as varied and unforeseen challenges

  • Very good English and German
