Description

IT Infrastructure Management:

The management of IT infrastructure involves overseeing various components, including but not limited to physical servers, clusters, virtualization resources, VOIP telephony equipment, infrastructure-related software, middleware, and data storage. These infrastructure elements can exist on-premises, be outsourced, or provided as cloud services.

• Deployment, Maintenance, and Enhancement: Deploy, maintain, and enhance IT infrastructure components to ensure their optimal performance and functionality.
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of systems and services within the IT infrastructure.
• Problem Resolution: Detect, log, and resolve problems or issues that arise within the infrastructure.
• Documentation: Document operational procedures and configurations to maintain a comprehensive record of the infrastructure setup.

System Software Management:

System software encompasses operating systems, utilities, and middleware that form integral parts of the IT infrastructure and enable applications to operate effectively.

• Deployment and Maintenance: Deploy and maintain system software to meet operational requirements and service levels.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of system software to enhance efficiency.
• Problem Resolution: Resolve potential and actual problems related to system software.
• Evaluation: Evaluate new system software to determine its suitability for integration.
• Software Updates: Review, provision, and test system software updates while adhering to established safety, security, and quality standards.

Database Administration:

Database administration involves various tasks related to maintaining and managing databases within the IT infrastructure.

• Maintenance: Perform standard database maintenance and administration tasks to ensure database reliability.
• Configuration: Conduct routine configuration, installation, and reconfiguration of databases and related products.

Storage and Backup Management:

Efficient storage and backup management is essential for data protection and accessibility.

• Storage Equipment: Manage storage equipment, including Storage Area Networks (SANs), to ensure data storage needs are met.
• Storage Processes: Implement and monitor storage processes such as replication, compression, and provisioning to optimize storage resources.
• Backup and Restore: Configure and monitor backup, archival, and restore processes to safeguard data.
• Quality and Security: Collaborate with the Information Systems (IS) team to ensure the quality and security of storage and backup solutions.
• Recovery Testing: Conduct regular recovery tests based on the bank's continuity policies to verify data recovery capabilities.
• Documentation: Report and document backup operations and test outcomes for record-keeping purposes.

Profile

Education:

• Degree in computer science or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with the Windows 10 environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft servers.
• Knowledge of SharePoint.
• Familiarity with on-premises environments.

Professional Experience:

• Previous experience in IT infrastructure management, especially in Windows 10 and Microsoft Server environments.
• Experience with SharePoint would be a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic knowledge of computer security.
