A privately held organisation is seeking a full-time Accounting Manager to oversee a team of accountants. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and offers a broad scope of responsibilities in a stable and structured environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in audit and accounting, with experience both in a Big Four firm and in an in-house finance function.

Description
Accounting & Financial Reporting:
- Lead and supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings (balance sheet, P&L, accruals, etc.)
- Coordinate and manage the external audit process and relationships with auditors
- Oversee accounting operations and provide technical guidance to the team
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and continuously improve financial processes
- Prepare statutory financial statements and support corporate tax filings
- Contribute to consolidation processes and group reporting
- Participate in finance-related projects and system enhancements
Team Coordination & Administration:
- Supervise and support a team of accountants
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of daily accounting tasks
- Assist in the preparation of banking documentation and payment instructions
- Collaborate on cross-functional and ad hoc projects
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality and data integrity
Profile
- Certified Public Accountant (Swiss CPA or equivalent) - mandatory
- Previous experience in a Big4 audit firm
- Proven track record in a corporate accounting or consolidation role outside of audit
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting systems
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid work authorisation for Switzerland
