The mission of the School of Practical Arts is to train students in the operational demands of the hospitality industry, including the management of food and beverage services, guest reception, staff supervision, and event organization. The programs focus on service excellence, attention to detail, as well as culinary and hospitality expertise. They allow students to develop practical skills that complement their theoretical knowledge.

Learning Designer - CDM
The mission of the Learning Designer is to support the strategic development and continuous enhancement of innovative, learner-centered educational experiences across all School of Practical Arts programs. Reporting to the Head of Education and Digital and working closely with the Pedagogical Coordinator, the Learning Designer ensures the seamless integration of pedagogy, technology, and instructional design to deliver high-quality, engaging, and impactful learning experiences that align with academic objectives and evolving learner needs.
What will you do?
- Design, write, and structure engaging learning materials for SPA segment programs.
- Transform learning objectives into learner-centered, impactful educational experiences.
- Ensure consistency and alignment of content across programs, campuses, and delivery formats.
- Create interactive and multimedia learning resources using modern digital authoring tools.
- Support the ongoing digitization of educational programs in line with EHL’s strategic vision.
- Apply instructional design best practices, including backward design and microlearning principles.
- Manage multiple content development projects simultaneously while meeting quality standards and deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with faculty, Pedagogical Coordinators, and subject matter experts to enhance learning experiences.
- Work with IT teams and Business Key Users to optimize learning platforms and digital learning environments.
- Drive innovation by proposing new learning technologies, formats, and educational products for B2B and B2C audiences.
Who you are?
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Learning Design, Educational Technology, Learning Sciences, or a related field.
- You have a recognized professional certification in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or Digital Learning Design (or equivalent experience).
- You have 2–4 years of experience in instructional design, digital learning, or a similar role; strong junior profiles are also encouraged to apply.
- You have proven experience designing engaging digital, blended, and learner-centered learning experiences.
- You are service-oriented, proactive, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership.
- You are creative, collaborative, and passionate about educational innovation and continuous improvement.
- You have hands-on experience with Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline), including content localization.
- You have experience working with Learning Management Systems such as Moodle, Cypher Learning, or similar platforms.
- You have proficiency with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite; experience with video production, Microsoft 365, and AI-powered content creation tools is a plus.
- You have excellent written and spoken English skills (C1/C2 level); French is an asset.
