About Our Client
For our client, a leading medium-sized Life Science company specializing in innovative in vitro diagnostic solutions, we are seeking a dedicated researcher. This family-owned Swiss enterprise has been pioneering diagnostic products for nearly five decades and operates internationally with approximately 120 employees . The company develops cutting-edge IVD products used globally by hospitals and diagnostic laboratories, maintaining ISO 13485 certification across its entire value chain.
Your Mission
- Drive innovation in IVD product development within a regulated, project-driven environment from concept to manufacturing transfer
- Orchestrate stakeholder alignment between regulatory, quality, and marketing teams throughout design and development phases
- Build strategic partnerships with external suppliers and research collaborators along the value chain
- Champion clinical evaluation studies to validate product performance and efficacy
- Enhance existing immunological test platforms, particularly ELISA-based systems
- Execute hands-on research using molecular biology techniques including construct cloning, protein expression, and purification processes
- Maintain scientific rigor through precise documentation, result evaluation, and database management
- Share expertise by delivering training sessions to internal teams and external customers
Your Profile
- Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Biochemistry, Biology, Biophysics, Immunology, or related natural sciences
- Proven expertise with diverse immunoassay platforms and methodologies
- Strong technical foundation in molecular biology (PCR, cloning, Western blot, FPLC, etc.)
- Analytical proficiency in software-supported data analysis tools (Excel, R, Origin, etc.)
- Specialized knowledge in glycolipid biochemistry is advantageous
- Industry background and familiarity with GxP guidelines preferred
- Language skills: Fluent English; advanced German is beneficial
