The EHL School of Practical Arts department is responsible for delivering hands-on training in key hospitality skills, such as culinary arts, service excellence, and guest relations. It ensures that students gain practical experience in real-world settings, preparing them to meet industry standards. The school focuses on developing both technical expertise and a strong service mindset, essential for successful careers in hospitality.

Reception Officer (Sport)
The Reception Officer is responsible for ensuring the smooth administrative and operational management of the reception area within our sports facilities.
This is a strongly administrative role requiring excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of requests. A significant part of your daily work will involve processing and responding to emails, handling administrative follow-up, coordinating requests and ensuring that information is accurately communicated to the relevant stakeholders.
You will also welcome and assist students, staff and external users of the sports facilities, ensuring a professional and positive experience aligned with EHL's values.
What will you do?

Manage and respond to a high volume of emails and administrative requests.

Welcome and assist students, staff and external users.

Handle incoming calls and direct requests to the appropriate contacts.

Manage bookings, registrations, cancellations and related administrative follow-up.

Follow up on payments, access rights, registrations and other administrative matters.

Maintain accurate databases, records and tracking tools.

Coordinate requests and information with various internal departments.

Prepare and maintain administrative documents and reports.

Contribute to improving reception processes and procedures.

Ensure the smooth daily operation of the reception and support Student Assistants.
Who you are?

You hold a CFC or equivalent qualification, ideally in administration, hospitality or customer service.

You have at least 2 years of professional experience, ideally in an administrative or reception environment.

You enjoy roles with a strong administrative focus and a high volume of emails to manage.

You are organized, structured, rigorous and detail-oriented.

You are able to manage priorities effectively and handle multiple requests simultaneously.

You are reliable, proactive, autonomous and solution-oriented.

You have excellent communication skills and a strong service mindset.

You are comfortable with IT tools and booking/reservation platforms.

You are fluent in French and comfortable in English.
