Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Description

• Develop and refine automation scripts to improve and streamline CI/CD pipelines.

• Support deployment activities through the creation and validation of Kubernetes/OpenShift scripts.

• Maintain and enhance the toolchain used for development (build tools, IDEs, container platforms, etc.).

• Provide technical guidance to developers throughout the software lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and internal standards, with proper documentation.

• Optimize and fine-tune systems such as logging frameworks, ETL processes, API management platforms, and NoSQL databases.

• Analyze application performance and sizing requirements, identifying areas for optimization.

• Perform root cause analysis to resolve incidents and prevent recurrence.

Profile

• Degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent education.

• Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in a DevSecOps role.

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD platforms (ideally Azure DevOps), container orchestration (Kubernetes, preferably OpenShift), and scripting (shell).

• Previous development background, ideally with Microsoft .NET, plus exposure to at least one of the following: Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, or an API management solution.

• Ability to approach IT ecosystems with a broad, holistic mindset.

• Practical, problem-solving attitude with strong hands-on skills.

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
