ERM Swiss GmbH is seeking a motivated market-facing Project Manager to join Central Europe’s LPMR team as a Managing Consultant, with primary focus on project management to ultimately establish deeper relationships with our clients. The role will preferably be based in Sierre, Switzerland.

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours weekly
Primary Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a portfolio of complex environmental consulting projects, including site investigations and remediation.

Ensure high-quality project delivery aligned with technical, legal, and commercial expectations.

Oversee and coordinate field work, ensuring all work is carried out to Swiss regulatory standards.

Act as the primary interface for clients across manufacturing, oil & gas, and public sector projects.

Collaborate with a national team based in Lausanne, Sierre, and Zurich, fostering communication and alignment.

Support knowledge transfer and continuity during a planned team lead sabbatical.
Key Skills & Competencies:

Extensive project management experience in environmental consulting, particularly in remediation and site investigation.

Demonstrated experience working in the field.

Solid understanding of Swiss environmental legislation.

Fluent in French and English; German is advantageous.

Experience working with clients in manufacturing, oil & gas, or public sector environments.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with public sector tenders or commercial proposal writing.

Mentoring or team leadership experience.

Familiarity with GIS, data management tools, or digital project tracking platforms.
