Your mission :
We are looking for a skilled and motivated IT Business Analyst to join our team in Geneva and collaborate with one of our key clients, a leading private bank. This role focuses on business analysis within the tax domain, where your expertise will directly support the bank?s Finance and Accounting operations.
You will become part of the Finance Core Banking development team. Organized around agile practices, the team is responsible for ensuring the evolutive maintenance and continuous improvement of Finance and Accounting components.
Your responsibilities :
- Establishing effective communication between the client/end users and the development team, helping them to communicate together directly when requirements are clear enough;
- Designing clear and comprehensive functional specification, including user journey, process models, and data flow diagrams;
- Manipulating data, extract insights, and using it to inform decision-making and support the development of project requirements;
- Ensuring the quality and integrity of project requirements and deliverables;
- Describing and performing end-to-end testing scenarios and their execution at transversal (multi-products) level;
- Preparing and presenting project status including progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
Your profile and your skills:
- You hold a Master?s degree in Business Management, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- You have meaningful experience as a Business Analyst within the banking industry.
- Your background includes working in cross-functional teams or on significant transformation projects, and any previous experience in Finance or Accounting will be a strong asset.
- You are comfortable with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Microsoft 365.
- With strong critical thinking, you know how to analyze, challenge, and translate client requirements.
- You can interpret complex problems and propose alternative business and technical approaches.
- You have solid process modeling and analysis skills, enabling you to map and evaluate business processes, detect inefficiencies, and design meaningful improvements.
- Data-driven by nature, you use analytics and metrics to support decision-making.
- Fluent in both French and English, you excel at building trusted relationships and engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
