For one of our customers, a very flexible company which is developing a brand new innovative product we're looking for a:

Senior Data engineer

To drive their analytical solution, we seek a highly passioned and talented data engineer who will contribute to design and shape the future of the product.


  • Drive external team of developers to revue and integrate code delivery and documentation
  • Implement testing and software quality management
  • Ensure an easy-to-read and robust code base and good test coverage.
  • Ensure the Machine Learning module is up to certification standards.
  • Manage release cycles for Machine Learning module as well as adjacent frontend and backend features.
  • Develop and improve image data acquisition and treatment to feed the machine learning system.
  • Architect pipelines with a focus on data quality, robustness, and scalability to ensure that the pipelines can keep up with the rapid pace of data generation while still ensuring that the medical data is reliably processed.
  • Data Management activities: guarantee database integrity, access and distribution.
  • R&D: Work closely with Machine Learning developers to build our next strategic solutions.
  • Other activities could include: managing IT environments, ensure data privacy project management (GDPR; LPD; HISPAA; HITRUST), participate in ISO 27001 SMSI implementation project.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Master's, Ph.D., further education or equivalent practical experience in Imaging, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is a plus.
  • 5+ years of software development experience with fluency in Python, other languages are a plus.
  • Experience working with two or more of the following: Imaging data (including hierarchical and multi-resolution), large scale data pipelines and infrastructure for machine learning, sensitive medical (PII) data, distributed systems, Cloud.
  • Experience with machine learning and image processing
  • Experience working with a quality system in a regulated industry, experience with the medical device (ISO13485, IEC 62304) industry is a plus.
  • Excellent facilitation and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills while simultaneously able to work independently.
  • Effective planning, organizational and task management skills.
  • Demonstrating flexibility and openness to execute tasks beyond the job description.
  • Autonomous and result oriented
  • Business fluency in English, French is a strong plus.
