Global Sales Development Manager - Wear parts and Consumables

The Global Sales Development Manager - Wear Parts & Consumables is responsible for the Sales development of our Wear Parts & Consumables portfolio. You will develop the business and facilitate the sales through the Regional Service Managers and Inside Sales Executives.

You are a hands-on self-starter with the ability to motivate and get the right focus on your portfolio. A skilled communicator who is able to analyze performances and federate the teams around the set action plans. You will work in close relationship with Regional Service managers, Inside Sales executives, customer care regional teams, Marketing and Pricing and the other members of the Global Sales Development teams
You will report to Head of Global Sales Development & Coordination.

Main Responsibilities & Key Tasks

Grow the Wear Parts & Consumables business in Europe, Asia, Africa & the Middle East (as a priority) & the Americas.
  • The main goal is the increase of the Wear Parts & Consumables volumes and profitability through the development of a recurrent purchase customer behavior.
  • Driving open pipeline forward with the Inside Sales and Regional Service Managers teams, the main goals is to generate the right energy through a strong quotation intake and make sure we have the right efficiency through the conversion rates monitoring.
  • Support in Key Account deals is required in collaboration with the Key Account Manager and the Head of Global Sales Development.
  • Developing bridges between the Maintenance plus program and the Wear Parts implementation is a key success factor.
  • Increase awareness on the Wear Parts & Consumables through the online purchase platform MyBobst
Support the regional sales and inside sales organizations
  • In cooperation with regional sales organizations, it is your responsibility to provide coaching and advice for major deals.
Business performance reporting & Focus sales target setting and consolidation
  • This involves the development of needed dashboards for optimal business monitoring for the corporate functions as well as the field and Inside Sales executives.
  • Focus sales regional target setting
  • Monitoring and drive for the volumes deals and Bobst as "˜preferred supplier' for your portfolio
Participate in new Wear Parts Marketing projects
  • You are part of the core decision-taking group of every new development or extensive improvements conducted by the Marketing team.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the Marketing & Pricing teams on Wear Parts & Consumables topics
  • Provide market benchmark on products, prices promotion and distribution to secure the lead & competiveness of your portfolio

Critical Skills & Personal Attributes
  • Strong sales skills and drive for results
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude, an efficient and proactive people unifier
  • Strong external and internal communication skills
  • Existing knowledge of industry market, and demonstrated ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • Fluent in English, other languages is a plus
Education & Experience
  • BS/ BA degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven track record in reaching/exceeding Sales targets
  • Strong knowledge of Wear Parts & Consumables business is a plus
  • Knowledge of online purchase platforms is a plus
