Do you want to combine your expertise in system technology with modern cloud technologies? In this role, you ensure the stable operation of a versatile ICT environment and specifically develop existing server, network, and backup systems further.
You analyse complex technical faults, implement security measures, and actively contribute to internal as well as cross-site IT projects. You can apply your knowledge of Microsoft technologies and the automation of operational processes.
Responsibilities:
Administration and further development of virtual system landscapes based on VMware as well as physical servers
Monitoring and ensuring the availability of on-premise and Azure infrastructures
Support and optimisation of the backup and disaster recovery environment with Veeam
Handling faults and technical escalations in 2nd level support
Analysis of security risks and implementation of appropriate protection and prevention measures
Collaboration and project management in technical undertakings with internal stakeholders and external partners
Qualifications:
Technical basic training with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) with further education in ICT system technology or equivalent qualification
Good knowledge of Windows Server and networks; Linux experience is an advantage
Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure; knowledge of Azure Automation and Logic Apps is welcome
Experience with VMware, Veeam, Cisco, PowerShell, and SQL
Structured, reliable, and independent working style with enthusiasm for project work
Very good German skills in spoken and written form, English is an advantage, and a category B driving licence
