Role:
In this role, you will significantly shape the data architecture of a future-oriented organisation and take responsibility for building a modern, scalable data landscape. You develop viable concepts for integrating data from various sources, thereby creating the technological foundation for analytical and AI-supported applications. As an experienced data architect, you accompany strategic decisions and ensure that data solutions are implemented sustainably, securely, and efficiently. You use your scope for creativity to introduce innovative approaches and define standards. In doing so, you work closely with specialist departments and IT to realise data-driven added value.
Responsibilities:
You design and develop a modern, future-proof data architecture for analytical and AI-based applications and drive its continuous optimisation.
In this role, you define and anchor company-wide standards and principles that form the basis for scalable data analytics and self-service solutions.
You are responsible for the business glossary, the conceptual data model, and the data catalogue, ensuring their ongoing alignment with data governance requirements.
As a Data Architecture Specialist, you work closely with data analysts, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to implement data architecture requirements purposefully.
You incorporate technical framework conditions together with IT architects into the further development of the architecture, especially in the context of cloud, data platform, and system landscapes.
With your expertise, you shape the development of our new cloud-based data platform and formulate a viable integration strategy.
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, data science, or a comparable education with at least 5 years of experience in architecture management
- Proficient in modern data management concepts such as data products, data mesh, and the establishment of data foundations for AI and GenAI
- Confident in data modelling, information architecture, and data integration, including the development of access and protection concepts
- Excelling with excellent communication skills as well as business fluent German and English
- Bringing initiative, strong implementation skills, and ideally experience with cloud services and corresponding certifications
- Knowledge of regulated industries, especially in the banking environment, is a plus
