Overall responsibility for IT security, data protection, cyber resilience as well as for the continuous improvement of the associated IT processes.
Planning and implementation of the IT strategy in the context of the overall MSW strategy, combined with independent management of IT projects and responsibility for the IT budget.
Ensuring a high-performance IT landscape through operational administration, maintenance, and further development of networks, firewalls, physical and virtual servers, as well as Microsoft cloud environments. This also includes active handling of support cases across 1st-, 2nd- and 3rd-level support.
Technical and personnel management of IT staff, coordination of external IT service providers and partners, as well as competent advice to school management and specialist departments on technological issues.
Qualifications:
Several years of solid experience with modern IT infrastructures and technologies such as Windows/Linux servers, virtualisation, M365 and Azure, as well as reliable knowledge in routing, switching and firewall/security.
Qualification as an IT specialist EFZ system technology / platform development with further education at HF/FH level or a comparable professional qualification combined with relevant professional experience.
Experience in managing IT projects as well as initial practice in a leadership or project management role; a partnership-based and goal-oriented approach with a small team is required.
A strong willingness to combine strategic and conceptual responsibility with daily operational involvement. Also expected are communication skills, service orientation, resilience, and a confident overview in dynamic situations, as well as fluent written and spoken German.
