Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the availability and further development of a highly critical Linux and container infrastructure based on RHEL, SLES and Kubernetes
Administration and optimisation of the Rancher/RKE2 platform as well as implementation of standardised operational and lifecycle processes
Development of automated infrastructure workflows with Ansible, AWX and Infrastructure as Code to reduce manual operational efforts
Setup and support of CI/CD processes on Forgejo as well as technical support for development and application teams
Monitoring of platforms, handling complex incidents and implementation of security, hardening and vulnerability measures including 7x24 on-call service
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience in Linux system engineering and operation of Kubernetes platforms
Very good knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Rancher/RKE2
Solid experience with Ansible, AWX, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and DevOps
Knowledge in platform security, DNS, load balancing, firewalls as well as highly available and distributed systems
Technical education at HF, FH, university or ETH level or equivalent experience; independent and reliable working style, German C2, English B2, French B1 advantageous; willingness for 7x24 on-call service
Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate or work as a cross-border commuter
