Software Engineer - Azure & Microservices (m/f/d)

Role:
Development and operation of a modern, fully cloud-based software solution for digital access control
Responsibility for the further development of an existing web platform, REST APIs, and command-line tools
Combination of full-stack development, Azure cloud, software quality, and technical support
Independent implementation of new requirements and continuous optimisation of the existing solution
Responsibilities:
Analysis of extension requirements as well as conception and efficient implementation of technical solutions
Further development of the backend and frontend of an existing web application
Development and maintenance of REST APIs and command-line tools
Operation and further development of the web application in Microsoft Azure
Support of 3rd-level support in complex technical issues
Implementation of software solutions according to clean code principles
Development and maintenance of unit tests as well as support for high software quality
Participation in CI/CD processes and microservice-based solutions
Independent familiarisation with industry-specific requirements and new technologies
Qualifications:
Completed studies at ETH, FH or comparable technical education in computer science or electrical engineering
Several years of professional experience as a full stack developer
Solid knowledge of C#, .NET Core, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with REST APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger
Experience with unit testing, CI/CD, and microservices
Knowledge of modern frontend technologies, ideally Vue.js, jQuery, Bootstrap or Kendo UI
Experience with Entity Framework and MSTest is an advantage
Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, and Azure Cloud Services
Ideally experience with IdentityServer4/OpenID, MQTT, and BLE
Willingness to take responsibility for technical solutions
Commitment to clean, maintainable, and stable code
Good German and English skills
